Lead principal giving strategy in support of the world’s largest Holocaust and genocide testimony archive.

 

The USC Shoah Foundation is seeking a bold, strategic, and experienced advancement professional to serve as Executive Director, Principal Gifts. Based at the USC Capital Campus in Washington, DC, this role will lead regional and national fundraising initiatives to secure transformational gifts in support of the Foundation’s mission and long-term priorities.

 

Reporting to the Associate Vice President for USC Shoah Foundation, University Advancement, and collaborating with the Foundation’s Chief Executive Officer and senior program staff, the Executive Director will play a central role in driving campaign fundraising efforts and stewarding relationships with the Foundation’s most generous donors and prospects.

 

In this role, you will:

 

  • Build and manage a portfolio of approximately 75 principal gift prospects with clear annual financial and activity goals.
  • Strategically identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward seven- and eight-figure commitments.
  • Serve as a leader in expanding the Foundation’s donor base, with a focus on the Northeast region and Jewish philanthropic community.
  • Partner with program leadership to translate the Foundation’s vision into compelling funding opportunities.
  • Represent USC Shoah Foundation and USC Advancement at events, meetings, and

conferences, demonstrating strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

The salary range for this position is $200,000–$225,000, with excellent USC benefits.
