Director of Fundraising

Cape Henlopen Senior Center is reimagining healthy aging in our coastal community with trusted programs, dynamic partnerships, and meaningful social connections - all delivered in a state-of-the-art new facility.

The position of Director of Fundraising is now open for application at Cape Henlopen Senior Center (CHSC).  This is a new position and comes at a time when CHSC is poised to vastly expand its services to the aging population in our coastal region. 

There is flexibility in the position.  It can be a fulltime permanent position or a contract position.  There is possibility of some part of it being remote, working from home.  What is not optional is that we need a person who is well connected to our coastal community and becomes a fixture here.  The position is initially focused on a capital campaign (4-5 years) that will fuel the new center but will evolve into a position to sustain the center.

CHSC is nearly 60 years old.  A Delaware corporation, and an incorporated 501C-3 organization, the CHSC, is poised to occupy a state-of-the-art center to be built on land we already own.  In a community with a large and rapidly aging population, we believe this center will be a vital link to healthy aging.
